Dr. Khan Dureshahwar is an alumnus of Y. B. Chavan College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad, She has obtained her Ph. D. from the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. She holds a Diploma in Acupressure, Acupuncture, and Cupping therapy recognized by Maharashtra Acupuncture Council. She has 12 years of Teaching and Research experience. She has authored/co-authored 11 research papers, delivered 13 Paper presentations, 01 Indian Patent Granted, 03 Patent Published, 04 Book Chapters, and 91 citations, 5 h-index and 4 i10-index to her credit. She has been a paper setter/ examiner/ member of the syllabus reframing committee of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. She is a Life member of the Indian Pharmacological Society and the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. She has been awarded 1st Rank (Teacher Category, Pharmacy and Medicine) at University Level Avishkar-2016 in the year 2016 at Dr. Babasaheb Marathwada University, Aurangabad, and was shortlisted for representing the University at State Level Avishkar. She has secured a position in the Top 5 Finalist in the field of Education in Women Bhaskar Award 2018 by Dainik Bhaskar. And has been awarded 2nd Rank (Teacher Category, Pharmacy and Medicine) at the 12th Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention State Level Avishkar- 2017 in the year 2018 at Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri. She completed the Online Summer Research Training Program of CSIR, Jorhat Assam with an ‘A’ grade in 2020. She received the Iconic Educationist Award (For The Most Promising Educational Development Services) by GOAL Awards 2020. She is also the recipient of the Best Mentor Award for her guidance to our college students in the Human Anatomy & Physiology National Level Quiz Competition held in 2021 organized by Ali-Allana College of Pharmacy, Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Received Teacher’s Appreciation Certificate on being nominated by a maximum number of students in recognition of their dedication & hard work on the occasion of Teacher’s Day 2023 by the Association of Muslim Professionals. Have an appreciable record of mentoring students in various competitions including a Research competition (UG level) at MIT Nashik 2018, Mentored 01 UG student in the zonal level research convention Anveshan 2018 held at Ganpat University, Gujrat, and also mentored a team of students in the Toycathon 2021. Mentored 01 First Prize Winner UG presentation at State level Oral presentation competition held in Oct 2022 at Srinath College of Pharmacy, A’bad and Mentored 01 Gold Medal Winner UG project at Avishkar University level 2022-23 in Jan 2023 at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, A’bad and same project was promoted to State level Avishkar 2022-23 held in Jan 2023 at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Presented an idea and won 3rd Position, in the Oral presentation competition (Innovative Idea Challenge Category) in the 4th Student Research Congress (Virtual), organized by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, and co-hosted by University of Mumbai on 8th & 9th December 2023. 01 Gold Medal Winner UG project & 01 Silver Medal PG project at Avishkar University level 2023-24 in Jan 2024 at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, A’bad, and the same projects were promoted to State level Avishkar 2023-24 held in Jan 2024 at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. Her 01 PG student Pratiksha Gajanan Harale, has been granted Wenyan Master’s Scholarship 2024-25 of Rs.15,000/per month for 6 months, for the M. Pharm. project under her guidance. Mentored 03 UG Projects and 03 PG Projects that won ranks at District level Avishkar 2024-25 and were promoted to University Level Avishkar 2024-25, held in Oct 2024 at Deogiri College, Aurangabad. 01 Gold Medal Winner & 01 Bronze Medal PG projects at Avishkar University level 2024-25 in Dec 2024 at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, A’bad, and the same projects were promoted to State level Avishkar 2024-25 held in Jan 2025 at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere. Mentored 2nd Prize Winner PG student (Pratiksha Harale) at Multidisciplinary State Level Poster Presentation Competition – Brainstorm 2025 organized by Vivekanand Group of Institutes on 21st Jan 2025. This 2nd Position was clubbed with a Cash Prize of Rs. 5,555/-. Mentored 01 UG Project  that got 1st Consolation position in District Level Aavishkar 2025, held in Sep 2025 at Shri Muktanand College, Gangapur, Aurangabad, (MS).
